Artificial cells at European Parliament

Jean-Christophe Baret is Professor at the University of Bordeaux.

He works in particular on microfluidics, which is the science and technology of the manipulation of fluids and living and non-living soft matter on a microscopic scale.

In his laboratory, he is particularly interested in the applications of microfluidics for the assembly of artificial cells, focusing on the reconstitution of the metabolism in artificial systems.
