CRPP, DHR2

The technical platform has a set of 5 TA instrument rheometers (1DHR2, 2 AR2000, 1 ARES-LS, 1 AR1000)

CRPP, DMA

and a dynamic mechanical analyzer (DMA Mettler Toledo SDTA861e).

These instruments are used to study the mechanical and flow properties of various materials (from simple fluid to viscoelastic fluid) under different types of stress. These measurements provide access to information on the structure of the sample.

Under flow: dynamic viscosity, threshold stress, relaxation time, etc.

Under oscillations: complex shear moduli G “/ G”, tension / compression E “/ E”, gel temperature, glass transition temperature …

The different geometries and accessories (plane / plane, cone / plane, Couette cell) make it possible to explore the mechanical properties of materials over a wide range of shears and temperatures. The equipment is particularly suited to the study of soft matter: solutions of complex fluids, emulsions, suspensions, physical and chemical gels, etc.

Peltier plane from -20 ° C to 200 ° C (all rheometers)

Oven from 50 ° C to 400 ° C (AR2000)

Furnace + liquid nitrogen from -150 ° C to 500 ° c (DMA SDTA861e)
