soft matter : STRUCTURE and DYNAMIcs
The M2SD team’s research subjects boil down to both multi-scale and multiphysical approaches to describe the behavior of soft matter systems in the broad sense. Our research covers a wide variety of systems ranging from molecular systems (polymers, nucleic acids, proteins, viruses, etc.) to divided media (colloids, granules, suspensions, gels, etc.). The structure and dynamics of the studied systems are examined at different spatial and temporal scales (local and global behaviors) in relation to multiphysical couplings (poro-viscoelastic, elastohydrodynamic, elasto-capillary or elasto-electrostatic) to better understand the complex under-jacent phenomena.
